Netflix Has Cancelled Teenage Bounty Hunters After One Season

Created by Kathleen Jordan (American Princess), the series follows 16-year-old fraternal twin sisters Sterling and Blair Wesley, who join forces with bounty hunter Bowser Simmons while still juggling teen problems and dramas.

Starring Maddie Phillips and Anjelica Bette Fellini, plus Kadeem Hardison, the show was exec-produced by Jenji Kohan, Tara Herrmann, Robert Sudduth and Black McCormick. It was given a straight-to-series order before premiering in August this year. Now, Netflix has decided not to renew the show for a second season.

The decision follows a number of recent cancellations at the streamer, including GLOW, The Society and I Am Not Okay with This.

Created by Kathleen Jordan (American Princess), the series follows 16-year-old fraternal twin sisters Sterling and Blair Wesley, who join forces with bounty hunter Bowser Simmons – while still juggling teen problems and dramas.

As well as Jordan, Jenji Kohan and Tara Herrmann (who also brought GLOW to Netflix) will exec-produce the show under their overall deal with the streaming giant. Robert Sudduth (On My Block, American Princess) will serve as showrunner and will also exec-produce the series, alongside Blake McCormick (Mad Men, True Detective).
