Powell guided Albion to a 2-0 win over Birmingham and a 0-0 draw away at last season’s runners up in the WSL Manchester City last month.
And Powell was delighted to have received the accolade.
She said: “I am really pleased, I think I am more pleased because the players have done so well.

“So really it is about them, I appreciate I get the accolade.
“But unless they execute the game plan in place then obviously you wouldn’t even get nominated.
“So on that front I am pleased for everybody involved, players and staff alike.”
