The first ‘El Clasico’ between Barcelona and Real Madrid will be played, according to ‘Mundo Deportivo’ on Saturday 24th October.
The most likely outcome is that this match is played either at 13;00 CET or 16:00 CET. This would be to suit the Asian market.
La Liga have still not made the kick off times for matchday seven official yet. The games on that matchday will be played on the weekend of 24th and 25th October, but the exact dates and kick-off times have not yet been decided.
The big game of the weekend is ‘El Clasico’ between Barca and Real Madrid. ‘Mundo Deportivo’ says the match will be on Saturday 24th October.
There are two options for the kick-off time. Either 13:00 or 16:00 CET. The newspaper reports that La Liga president Javier Tebas wants to make sure the encounter is played at a good time for Asia.
That was also the idea last term. The match was scheduled to be on Saturday 26th October at 13:00 CET. However, the fixture was postponed due to unrest in Catalonia and the game was rearranged for 18th December at 20:00 CET.
The fixture in the 2017-18 season was played at 13.00 CET. The match at the Bernabeu was on 23rd December and the Catalans walked away 0-3 winners.
There is no official word as of yet. The latest kick off times to have been confirmed are for matchday six. The matchday seven schedule should be confirmed in the next few days
