Bayern Munich announced on Monday that Leon Goretzka suffered an injury to his right calf and that he will miss the trip to Austria, where Bayern take on RB Salzburg in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Midfielder Leon Goretzka is out for Bayern Munich for Tuesday’s Champions League game against RB Salzburg due to calf problems, the club has announced.
The absence of Goretzka adds to the injured Niklas Sule, who tested positive for coronavirus.

Goreztka already missed Saturday’s Bundesliga game against Koln, when he was replaced by Javi Martínez.
Head coach Hansi Flick could also turn to Corentin Tolisso, who missed the Koln game through a sanction, or Spaniard Marc Roca.
The obvious choice to replace Sule at centre-back would be Jerome Boateng.
