De Bruyne Was In The Thick Of The Action At The Etihad

The first half of Man City v Liverpool was very exciting. The Reds took the lead from the penalty spot, City levelled and had a penalty of their own to go in front, but De Bruyne hit it wide.

45 minutes of thrilling action in the first half of Man City versus Liverpool at the Etihad.

De Bruyne was the main man, although Liverpool drew first blood. Salah, in the 13th minute, scored a dicey penalty which the referee gave.

But Man City fought back and levelled in the 31st minute. The goal was by Gabriel Jesus after being played in by De Bruyne. The Brazilian turned and made it 1-1.

The Belgian was in the thick of things again towards the back end of the first half when his cross struck Joe Gomez. The spot kick was awarded after a VAR review, but he hit the ball wide of the goal.
