Erling Haaland was named Golden Boy for 2020 this Saturday and he ended the day in perfect fashion. He scored a hat-trick in the space of 15 minutes to give Dortmund a 1-3 lead after they were losing 1-0.
Erling Haaland is gradually making history at Borussia Dortmund. The Norwegian footballer scored again in the Bundesliga. His first goal made it 1-1 at Hertha Berlin.
Haaland won the Golden Boy earlier on Saturday and this time he played like a typical ‘9’ to knock home a low cross from the right. Scholow could not do anything on that occasion.
One goal was not enough for Haaland though and he only needed another three minutes to put Dortmund ahead. This time it was on the counter, he was in space and he shot from inside the area with his right foot.
In just three minutes, Haaland had scored a brace to give Dortmund the leader against a Hertha Berlin side who had taken the lead through Matheus Cunha.
But the Norwegian’s night did not end there. 12 minutes after the second goal and 15 after the first, Haaland took advantage of a defensive error to beat Scholow in the Hertha goal in a one on one situation.
Dortmund won the match 2-5 and Haaland ended up getting a fourth 11 minutes from time.
