Two former hot prospects have just been left without a team. Jack Wilshere leaves West Ham United and Alen Halilovic leaves Milan.
The two clubs formally announced the contract cancellations, by mutual agreement, of their players.
Wilshere and Halilovic will be without a team for now. West Ham and Milan confirmed their contract cancellations in official statements on their websites. The Milan side, interestingly enough, did not publish it on their social networks.
Both the players generated a considerable level of excitement among fans, but neither player lived up to the hype that they created. The Englishman created many expectations, especially during his time with Arsenal, but in recent seasons, his impact has dwindled.
We can confirm the departure of Josh Cullen and Jack Wilshere this evening on a permanent basis.

The Croatian is far from being the pearl who signed for Barcelona at just 17 years of age. His loan period ended at Heerenveen when the club confirmed that they do not wish to continue the deal.
He has better prospects for the future than Wilshere, however. Even though the time when he generated the most excitement has passed, he is 24 years old and has a long career ahead of him. If he takes a step back and turns to a lesser-known team, perhaps he will regain his position in the footballing world.
