Leicester City shocked the world when they won the Premier League in 2016. Two years later, a tragic helicopter crash killed their beloved owner. Now, they are flying high again, so how have the Foxes done it?
Leicester City are top of the Premier League once again with the title race wide open in England. It comes two years on from when tragedy hit the club.
Leicester went from joy to despair. They went from winning the Premier League to a results crisis that was amplified by the tragic helicopter crash that saw the death of their owner, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.
Last season they looked on track to return to their best, but ultimately missed out on Champions League qualification on the final day after a catastrophic drop in form.

But instead, he has done the opposite. his Leicester side are now sitting top after eight games played. They have won three in a row, notably destroying Manchester City 5-2 away from home.
They have laid down a marker for the rest of English football. Leicester are smiling again, and although Vichai isn’t leading the club, his son has taken the reigns and carried on boldly in his memory. Who knows what success might follow as a result…
