Will Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s job come under threat after Manchester United were utterly humiliated by Tottenham on Sunday?
Jose Mourinho returned to haunt his former club at Old Trafford as Spurs put SIX past the ten men of United in a thumping 6-1 victory.
Questions were already raised about United’s progress under Solskjaer following the opening day defeat at home to Crystal Palace and the unconvincing 3-2 victory over Brighton, but now there are serious concerns following one of the worst days in the club’s history.
Only West Brom have conceded more goals than United this season, having played a game more.
And the defensive horror show has seen odds PLUNGE on Solskjaer becoming the next Premier League manager to lose his job.
The Norwegian has dropped from 12/1 to 15/8, making him second favourite, just behind Fulham manager Scott Parker at 7/4.
Solskjaer is also now odds on to be sacked before Christmas (8/13) while he it is 1/2 he will be axed before the end of the season.
Jose Mourinho remains fourth in the sack race at 8/1, despite the historic win on Sunday, while Frank Lampard’s job at Chelsea looks safer following the club’s 4-0 victory over Crystal Palace.
David Moyes will also be sleeping a little easier, having climbed from 3/1 to 10/1 after West Ham broke Leicester’s perfect start with a 3-0 win at the King Power on Sunday.
And Jurgen Klopp’s job remains among the safest in the Premier League, despite Liverpool’s freak 7-2 thrashing at the hands of Aston Villa.
