Mariano Before And After The Coronavirus And The Operation

Spanish-Dominican footballer has lost eight kilograms and as you can see in the image shared by Real Madrid this Thursday, he looks very thin.

Things have not been going well for Mariano in 2020. Even though the striker scored in ‘El Clasico’ against Barcelona, the pandemic hit him hard and he then had to be operated on after getting tonsilitis.

He has been off the scene for some time and photos shared by Real Madrid show he has lost a lot of weight.

Mariano, who has always had a lot of muscle, has lost eight kilograms and looks a bit weak. He is looking to strengthen his muscles again.

Little has been said about the player since his operation three weeks back. According to ‘Marca’, he went more than 10 days without eating solid food and his recovery did not go as expected.

The attacker is continuing with recovery and is looking to become fit again. He has put three kilos on since then and is continuing to strengthen his muscles.

The operation did not come at a good time for him as COVID-19 had also affected the academy player’s form.

Mariano could have left Real Madrid this summer, but he decided to stay at the Spanish side. The La Liga outfit have kept him in the squad while he was in a bad way following his operation.
