It was the Italian club who first announced that the footballer had arrived in Italy and tested positive for COVID-19 before arriving for his club medical.

This Tuesday, Sampdoria kicked off their Serie A campaign, and just a day later, they finally announced the agreement with Monaco for a loan with an option to buy.
Keita Baldé played 26 times last season for the French side, scoring eight goals and bagging one assist. He will be a welcome reinforcement for Claudio Ranieri.
