Soler Scored A Retaken Penalty To Level

Valencia levelled against Real Madrid from the penalty spot against Real Madrid. The first spot kick was missed twice by Soler (save and post) before Yunus tapped in the rebound. The penalty was retaken and Carlos Soler beat Courtois.

The game at the Mestalla was crazy and Valencia’s equaliser at Real Madrid came after several minutes. Carlos Soler levelled after a penalty which had to be retaken.

Lucas Vazquez handled Gaya’s cross and the spot kick was awarded. Carlos Soler, who scored against Getafe last week, was the man who took responsability.

The Valencia man shot, but Courtois saved it, Soler then hit the post from the rebound and Yunus Musah scored at the third attempt.

However, Gil Manzano, on the advice of VAR, disallowed the goal because Yunus has stepped in the area before Carlos Soler had shot. Lucas Vazquez’s foot was on the penalty box line which is also not allowed.
